About Cody

Cody Smith is the Founder and Board President of Healing Alliance Foundation. A Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. He is trained in EMDR therapy for trauma work and is a Florida-approved Qualified Supervisor, mentoring registered interns toward full licensure. Over more than two decades in Palm Beach County's behavioral health field, Cody has served as a case manager, therapist, clinical supervisor, and clinical director, working with individuals, couples, and families facing trauma, substance use, and mental health challenges, and has testified in court as an expert witness in foster-care matters. Drawing on this front-line experience with the gaps in access to care, he founded Healing Alliance Foundation to help individuals and the professionals who serve them find and afford quality treatment.
